Thanksgiving at Riverbend 2009 !! WHAT A TREAT, this makes for one of my best Thanksgivings ever!! All campers should make this a family tradition - make reservations for next year!!! We'll see ya there!

We camped here in June 2009, and it was our first ever family camping trip in our (new to us) camper.
This campground is great, DEFINITELY the BEST in Hiawassee!!! We will be back many, many times.
The owners are great, very friendly.

We have camped here since they first opened and have never been disappointed - what a beautiful friendly place, well maintained, excellent staff. Take a walk down to the office/store in the evening and sit and visit - it's loads of fun. We are now going to be 'full timing' here and couldn't have found a better home. Ya'll come visit!!

Overall a great Campground!! Well maintained with good facilities. The only problem we had was that the Wireless Internet did not work well at either of the two sites we tried, even though one was within 200ft of antenna. I do not believe it was their provider as if it had been we could have had a wireless connection but could not have accessed the internet. Happy Travels Andy

Lynn and I arrived last night August 20 2009 late and it was dark so when we arrived we couldn't see much. This morning when we got up was surprised the campground is really pretty.Very quiet. We camp alot at Pigeon Forge TN and this is the first time we have came over this way.The campground is very clean and everyone and staff is friendly. We would like to come back in the fall,but by reading alot of people's comments Thanksgiving might be a good time to come. The last 2 years for Thanksgiving we went to Pigeon Forge. I know we will come back here,especially in the Fall.

Carl and I have been at RiverBend for a few months now for the summer and fall. We found this park to be one of the best parks we have ever visited. We are planning to come back in the spring and summer next year. What a beautiful and friendly park. beautifully landscaped and the mountains are to die for! This is truly a little bit of heaven in the Georgia Mountians!

We try and stay at Riverbend several times a year, and as always this time was a treat. They treat you like one of the family and make for a fantastic stay!

This is absolutely the most beautiful RV Park. We are attending the Fair for the 4th time. However, this is the most pleasant place we have stayed! We will be back (maybe at Thanksgiving). Read on the "guestbook" that Thanksgiving dinner is a community effort and it sounds like so much fun!

We had a wonderful time staying with you. This was our first visit and we will be back!! We celebrated our 20 yr. anniversary here and despite all the rain, we had a wonderful time!! Everyone was so friendly here, even in the town & shops we visited.

Riverbend is tops on our list. We enjoy every visit and only wish we could be there more often. Everyone we have had the pleasure to deal with has been outstanding. Can hardly wait till the next trip.

This is the third time we have stayed at Riverbend. Bobby and Susie are the best camp host/owners we have ever had the opportunity to get to know. They treat you just like you are one of the family. We will continue to visit here and we also tell all of our friends about this place.

Riverbend campground is the best RV camping anywhere. Bobby & Susie treat you like you are the only ones there. We will continue to come back year after year.

The best campground that we have ever stayed at. Bobby and Susie are the greatest, they make you feel like you are part of their family. The park is kept very clean. We have spent the last two Thanksgivings there and the food and fellowship were just wonderful. My family, especially my grandchildren love camping at Riverbend.

Our Thanksgiving weekend at Riverbend was a wonderful change to normal holiday tradition. The dinner was very good and plentiful; the company interesting! The people who run the campground, as well as the visitors were so friendly and welcoming. And special thanks to the "5th Wheel lady" from Florida, for loaning out her hose. We will definitely be returning to enjoy some warmer camping, so that we can tube and swim.

This was my 5th visit to Riverbend. As always, I really enjoyed the week at Riverbend. It is a beautiful campground and extends genuine hospitality to all its guest campers. I love the great hiking in the area, the beautiful mountains and the people I have met at Riverbend.
This was my second Thanksgiving with Riverbend. What a fabulous day it was. Great weather, friends and food. Riverbend provided the turkey & ham and camepers brought the side dishes. This year,s group number nearly a 150 people & from what I observed fun was had by all.
Thanks Bobby & Susie. See you again next year.

WE STAYED ABOUT 4 YEAR AGO, AND PLAN TO GO BACK THIS SPRING. It was great then, and I see a lot has been added since then. It was actually one of the best RV parks we have been to! When we come back we will have lots of friends in tow! Another thing that attracted us is it is family owned and got to hear some of the family stories. Anyone that visits this park will not be disappointed.

WE HAVE STAYED THREE DIFFRENT TIMES AT RIVERBEND.WE HAVE TWO SETS OF FRIENDS THAT COME WITH US .WE LOOK LIKE A CONVOY PULLING IN.WE TALKED SAT NITE<18TH OCT.> AROUND OUR CAMPFIRE HOW MUCH WE LOVED THE PLACE,IT REMINDS US OF SOME OLDER CAMPGROUNDS WE STAYED IN. WE BROUGHT A NEW COUPLE WITH US THIS TIME, THEY FELL IN LOVE WITH IT.WE CANT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THE STAFF AT THE CAMPGROUNDS.THERE GREAAAAAAAAAAAT WERE ALREADY PLANNING FOR NEXT YEAR. We have been here a month and we don't want to leave.We have traveled most of the states in our beautiful America and I can say this, this campground is probably in the top three that we have stay in. The owners make it their duty to provide you with the cleanest,quietest,and the most friendly place we have ever been too. The landscaping is beautiful. Our site backs up to the Hiawassee River and the sound of it flowing over the rocks is incredible. I'll be back next year, even sooner if I can swing it. I can not think of one negative comment to say about this camground.

This is a great place to relax! We stayed here the first month the campground was opened and have been back a few times every year since. Our boys (11 & 7) have a blast in/on the river no matter what time of the year it is. Very friendly people with grounds and facilites that are well kept!
