We looked on line to try to find a good place for our first trip. we could not of picked a better place. The grounds were great and very well maintained. The lot were spacious and level. The people were very friendly and welcoming. The entire weekend was fun and relaxing. We will be back for sure and will recommend this place to anyone. The sites are very spacious and clean. The people are super friendly. We enjoyed the salt water pool. Can't wait to go back for another visit. We have put this campground on our list as one our favorite places to stay. We spent the month of July there and found it to be everything that was advertised. Sussie and Terry are so helpful in making sure you're happy and enjoying your stay. And if there are any little problems Bobby and Jason are there in a short time to make them go away. The only problem I see is it is becoming too popular. It might be time to start that expansion. MJ and Sandy. 6 August 04, 2010 - 09:03 AM Billy and Trudy Johns   Don't know when we have had such a relaxing and fun camping trip. Our first visit to Riverbend but definitely not our last. We were welcomed like old friends. Bobby, Susie, Terri, Angie, Jason, and Miss Hazel not only operate a friendly campground but it was one of the cleanest we have camped in. All other campers were so friendly and we can't wait for our next reservation. And, meeting Eli was a joy. Thanks to all of you for a forever memory. Bobby and Susie are wonderful,they make you feel like you're part of their family. We live 20 minutes away but when we go to Riverbend we feel like we're a million miles away...can't wait to go back.... 11 June 29, 2010 - 09:18 AM Bill and Linda   This was our 5th time to camp at Riverbend. We stayed for 2 weeks and loved every minute. The owners sister was in charge, and she is just as friendly and makes you feel like family. WHAT A TREAT, this makes for one of my best Thanksgivings ever!! All campers should make this a family tradition - make reservations for next year!!! This campground is great, DEFINITELY the BEST in Hiawassee!!! We will be back many, many times. The owners are great, very friendly. Thanks for a great time!!! 19 September 26, 2009 - 02:46 PM Rosie & Bill Oswald   We have camped here since they first opened and have never been disappointed - what a beautiful friendly place, well maintained, excellent staff. Take a walk down to the office/store in the evening and sit and visit - it's loads of fun. We are now going to be 'full timing' here and couldn't have found a better home. Ya'll come visit!! 20 September 26, 2009 - 08:27 AM Andrew Foley   Overall a great Campground!! Well maintained with good facilities. The only problem we had was that the Wireless Internet did not work well at either of the two sites we tried, even though one was within 200ft of antenna. I do not believe it was their provider as if it had been we could have had a wireless connection but could not have accessed the internet. Happy Travels Andy 21 August 21, 2009 - 06:06 PM Lynn and Joyce Cody   August 21 2009 Lynn and I arrived last night August 20 2009 late and it was dark so when we arrived we couldn't see much. This morning when we got up was surprised the campground is really pretty.Very quiet. We camp alot at Pigeon Forge TN and this is the first time we have came over this way.The campground is very clean and everyone and staff is friendly. We would like to come back in the fall,but by reading alot of people's comments Thanksgiving might be a good time to come. The last 2 years for Thanksgiving we went to Pigeon Forge. I know we will come back here,especially in the Fall. We found this park to be one of the best parks we have ever visited. We are planning to come back in the spring and summer next year. What a beautiful and friendly park. beautifully landscaped and the mountains are to die for! We are attending the Fair for the 4th time. However, this is the most pleasant place we have stayed! We will be back (maybe at Thanksgiving).
