General Rules & Regulations
  • Check Out Time: Check out time is 1:00 on date of departure.

  • One Vehicle and one family unit only per site. ABSOLUTELY NO
    PARKING ON GRASS

  • Guests: If you have any guests, please have them check in at
    the office. There will be a $2.00 charge per vehicle per day.
    Parking for guests upon availability only.

  • Speed Limit: Speed limit in the campground is 5 mph AND WILL
    BE INFORCED!

  • Pets: All pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Campers ARE
    expected to pick up after pets. ABSOLUTELY NO PIT BULLS
    ALLOWED!

  • It is your responsibility to keep your dog from barking.

  • When riding a bicycle, you MUST wear a helmet at all times..

  • Firearms, fireworks, or other potentially lethal devices are not
    permitted on campground property.

  • Alcoholic beverages are NOT ALLOWED in any public areas of
    the park. Please keep all alcoholic beverages at your own
    campsite.

  • Children should be supervised by an adult at all times.

  • Garbage: Garbage and trash should be placed in bags and then
    placed into dumpster.

  • Camp Fires: NO fires allowed on pavement, in grass, or around
    picnic tables. Fires are allowed in FIRE RINGS ONLY. DO NOT
    MOVE FIRE RINGS!

  • Washing vehicles and campers are NOT permitted on
    campground property.

  • Refunds: To receive a refund we must be notified at least 48
    hours prior to your arrival. There will be a one-day rental charge
    for cancellations less than 48 hours.

  • HOLIDAYS AND SPECIAL EVENTS REQUIRE A 2-WEEK
    CANCELLATION. IF YOU DO NOT CANCELL WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF YOUR RESERVATION DATE YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR YOUR ENTIRE RESERVATION IF SITE CAN NOT BE FILLED.

  • IF YOU HAVE AN EARLY DEPARTURE, NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN, YOUR SITE HAS BEEN HELD FOR YOUR
    RESERVATION.

  • PLEASE NOTE: The Hiawassee River can be dangerous...
    Please swim, fish, wade or any other type of water recreation at
    your own risk. Please be aware of any wildlife and that boats and
    Jet Ski’s do use this river for water recreation.

  • IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY: PLEASE DIAL 911 then contact
    campground office @ 706-896-1415 if no answer please call
    706-781-5991

  • Absolutely no dumping of grey water on ground. You must use
    dump station.

  • Campsite should be kept nice and neat at all times. Make sure
    all trash is picked up.

  • You are responsible for your guests knowing and abiding by all
    rules and regulations.

  • Guests or campers not abiding by rules will be asked to leave
    immediately.

  • Quiet time starts at 10:00 p.m. Please make sure all noise is
    heard only at your own campsite. Please be courteous to
    campers beside you.

  • Campsite must be clean on day of departure, or there will be an
    additional charge..

  • ALL FISHERMEN MUST ABIDE BY THE STATE OF GEORGIA
    RULES AND REGULATIONS.  

  • River Bend Campground is NOT responsible for theft.

  • ATTENTION SWIMMERS: NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY AT ANY TIME! SWIMMERS WILL BE SWIMMING AT THEIR OWN RISK. CAMPERS WITH CHILDREN ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR CHILDREN WHILE THEY ARE AT THE POOL AREA. ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ATTENDED WITH PARENTS WHILE IN OR AROUND THE POOL AREA. RULES ARE POSTED AT POOL AND EVERYONE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ABIDING BY ALL THE RULES! ABSOLUTLEY NO DIVING INTO THE POOL. BATHING SUITS ONLY; NO CUT-OFF JEANS. BABYS MUST NOT WEAR DIAPERS IN POOL, THEY MUST WEAR LITTLE SWIMMER
    .  
    NO PETS ALLOWED IN POOL AREA. CAMPERS ARE
    RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO POOL OR PAVILION. IF YOU ARE AWARE OF AN EMERGENCY CONTACT THE
    OFFICE IMMEDIATLEY! BEFORE ENJOYING THE POOL
    PLEASE READ OVER ALL RULES THAT ARE POSTED, IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS CONTACT OFFICE.

  • THE MANAGEMENT ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILTY FOR
    ACCIDENTS, INJURY OR LOSSES FROM ANY CAUSE

  • RIVER BEND CAMPGROUND RESERVES THE RIGHT TO
    CHANGE OR ADD ANY RULE WITHOUT NOTICE


  • DISCLAIMER: River Bend is NOT responsible for lost or stolen
    articles. For your own protection, please secure your own
    vehicles and valuables. There are deep areas in the river-
    Parents must not leave their children unattended and are
    responsible for their own actions.

  • I have read and understand all the above items. I understand
    that I will be held responsible for anything charged to my
    account as a result of damage, missing items or cancellation
    policies. I accept the risk and responsibility of my well-being and
    that of those staying with me.  I agree to not hold River Bend
    responsible regarding personal injury or damage in connection
    with myself or those with me.
