** Seasonal rate requires signed contract for a stay from April 1st thru November 30th. If you depart early, your rate will be recalculated for the entire period of your stay at the appropriate Monthly/Weekly/Daily rate for the actual period of your stay. Seasonal sites are available in designated areas only. In keeping with the pride we take in the overall quality appearance of our campground, RV's in seasonal sites can be no more than 15 model years old and are subject to management's approval of having a well maintained exterior appearance. Seasonal sites may only be occupied by those on the signed contract. Additional guests may be approved by prior written consent of the office. Payment by Cash/Check only.

Winter Camping

​

Riverbend Campground is open year-round. Reservations are required year-round. The office is not open daily during the winter months, but a staff member will come in and register you during the evening. The bathhouses and laundry facilities will be closed during the winter months (December 1- April 1. All campers need to be self-contained. All water hoses must be disconnected each night to prevent faucets from freezing. Anyone who doesn't disconnect and freezes our water source will be charged for the repair expenses. Firewood is available for sale from the office in the evenings for guests' convenience.

Policies

Deposit

There will be a one-night deposit collected at the time of reservation for nightly or weekly stays, and a $100.00 deposit for monthly stays.

 

Holiday and Special Events

During holiday and special events, a three-night minimum stay is required. Deposits for holiday and special events are nonrefundable. This includes Group reservations, any events at Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds and events in surrounding counties.

Once the reservation is CONFIRMED, you will be charged for your entire stay if you do not show up.

 

Credit Cards

Visa, MasterCard, & Discover credit cards will only be accepted for reservation deposits or nightly & weekly camping fees.

Sorry we DO NOT accept American Express.

 

The monthly and seasonal rate fees must be paid by Check or Cash.

Cancellation Fee

Holiday, Fair/Festival, Special Event weeks: A 2 week notice is required for cancellation or you will be charged for the full reservation.

​

Regular Camping weeks: Cancellations made prior to 7 days before your arrival will be charged a $10.00 cancellation fee. This fee will be deducted when refunding a cancelled reservation. Reservations cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival will not receive a refunded deposit and will be charged for the full reservation.

Due to high demand during the month of OCTOBER any reservations during this month are NONREFUNDABLE.  

​

Monthly reservations require a 90-day cancellation notice with a $100.00

NONREFUNDABLE deposit, with less than a 90-day cancellation you will be charged the full reservation amount.

 

Cancellations MUST be verified by staff in person or on the phone. Email cancellations are not accepted.

Site Assignments

Riverbend Campground reserves the right to make final assignment of all sites.
